very early 46 trucks have some military sheet metal.The firewall on the upper drivers corner has a round punch out where the mil trucks has a wiring block. The hood skirts have a different rub pad on them (I have on seen 1 picture with this). On some, if I am correct, have a small piece of rolled metal on the bed just in front of the spare tire. That is all I can think of at the moment.
