Took the '41 out to the Randolph ORV park this past weekend for its shakedown run. I have only one word to describe it...AWESOME. We tooled around for a little bit slowly climbing a few small hills with loose rock, a pretty steep downhill (I need to do some brake adjustments). Finally, we parked near the mudhole and watched a Bronco get pulled out, then a Blazer massacre the pit a few times before a little Cherokee rolled in (mud and water came over the hood on entry)and my buddy talked me into going into it. Wow, not even a challenge. I basically rolled into it before giving about half throttle and it was like driving in a mud puddle in the driveway!! Only problem was fron sucking a little water and stalling after leaving the hole after the second pass. Man, these things draw some attention, we had a small croud assemble, I'd like to think it was to watch a 70 year old vehicle tackle a 3' deep mudhole like it was a mud puddle. Another great thing....didn't get a drop of mud on us! I wish I had had the camera on em!
