Have you noticed how the quality of imported tools is going down hill fast ? Back in 79' *, I bought a Ludel Drill Press and a Ludel Bench Grinder. Ludel was based in Long Island City and imported from Taiwan. The castings were a little rough, but great tools, still used daily in my shop. Try that life span with the junk imported tools today.
