In those days most people, including me, thought these cars would always be around. Slowly the auto industry evolved from solidly built mechanical beauties to disposable junk, designed to fail. How many times I have wished I had kept every car, truck, and motorcycle I ever owned that was built in the '40s, '50s and '60s. (And, while I am wasting time with nostalgia, rifle, shotgun and pistol).
