1953 Dodge M37
Titled, registered for road use
7000 original miles
Too many projects, not enough shop space, and kids.
Truck has run perfectly until last year. Turns over, has spark, won't start. I have not had time to work on it. Only surface rust in bed and some around the hinges for the tool box. Very sound. All original flat 6 engine.
Have the hardware for troop seats but wood will need replacing. Have military service manual and carb. manual. Windows need replacing. Needs a new handle for manual throttle. Top of tailgate has noticeable dent.
This is an easy restore for a collector. Can send additional photos if requested. Original wiring (still working but ready for some real wires) Top speed 45mph. Have 2 extra rims. 24 volt system (two new batteries). Stored indoors most of it's retired life. No PTO Winch on this one. Has been driven less than 100 miles/year the last few years. Act quickly (before April) and I will include a surplus Pintle Hook Trailer free . True workhorse or with little effort a restore.
Price is $6,890. Buyer must pay for delivery or pick up in person. Would also consider trade for a running diesel crew cab or similar 4x4. Email for more pictures or additional information.
