I'll make you an offer. Stop by and bring some 1/4 or 5/16 rivets about half an inch long with you. I'll provide the steel and riveting hammer.
If you can hold your bare finger on either the buck or hammer side of that rivet when I'm done for 30 seconds I'll give you 10 bucks.
Structure is cold, even cold rivets get damn hot when they are closed, and take a while to cool off.
