What is there something odd about a hoist in a truck? Ha Ha Actually after lifting the engine into the truck I needed the hoist at the other location to unload it, so I lifted it into the truck.

Odd transmission? The setup is out of a 1990 Dodge RAM.

I believe the 90 dodges had an NP231. The guy I got it from picked it up to put into a hot rod, and then went a different direction, so he didn't get or have the T-Case.
