I buy a lot of after market components and I don't recall ever having a problem with any. If the mft. claims to meet or exceed the OEM part specs, you generally have a dependable part. You can get cheap parts or parts not made for the engine you are working on, which usually cause the problems. You can also get mechanics less than competent.
