mopar had that AL engine and buick pontiac olds had an aluminum 215 V8 all slightly different and they dropped it in 64. Not sure if ford had any Aluminum motors at that time. The Buick version of the AL 215 is now what powers all V8 Landrovers. I dont know why they abandoned Aluminum. too soon I guess.
