OK I understand pictures 2 and 3. Picture 1 I am not sure of. Is it a spacer that goes between the inner and outer dual? It appears that it much be "free" floating as the studs do not seem to be holding it as they are only holding the inner wheel. I assume that the spacer works with the special lug nuts so that the spacer is queezed between the inner and out wheels thus giving the support that the out wheel needs as it cannot be held by the lugs nut only as that would split the wheel.
