I found out that currently, we are not using the Romer arm for digitizing. We are just using it for measuring and occasionally for creating point clouds. From there, we are creating the ProE models from scratch as imported models will not work for our customers. They need fully editible native models, sketches, extrusions, etc. with our designs.
The powers have been looking into all the options though. It seems if the modeling software designers and the rapid prototyping software designers ever reach the point where they are working together and speaking the same language, the possibilities will really take off.
