I don't think enough accumulates anywhere to poison any animals, and from what I've read, glycol is biodegradable in the soil and is harmless so long as there isn't a puddle of it. They spray huge amounts of it at the airports to de-ice planes and I don't hear of it killing any animals. Regular pre-mix washer fluid has methanol in it, which is also poisonous.
