That is an interesting story of the "war" between Edison vs Westinghouse/Tesla.
The horse killing I mentioned was going on about 10 years ago if I recall.
I doubt that the class of people that participated in this even knew anything of Edison much less Westinghouse or Tesla.
I remember reading a roadside plaque that said that Tesla's first practical demonstration of AC power occurred just outside Telluride, Colorado.
