Move it forwards 2". Change mountings etc so it bolts to the front of the support frame instead of the back. You will also have to move the grille forwards to clear it. Look at the front of a late M601 and you will see extension pieces, or if you don't like that look you can cut the required amount off the back of your grille. Measure everything lots before you cut anything.
