could you use a modern seal from a bearing house. when i lived in boston there was a place called south shore bearing. they took finding seals and bearings for obsolete stuff personally. if you can remove it and bring it to a place like that, you might even get it in its felt configuration. likely if the seal is leaking, it is old and the bearings have some slop allowing the shaft to stretch out the hole. might want to get bearings too!!
