I used Frantz oil filters on several vehicles in the past. The most striking example was a Ford 390 that had 112000 miles on it when I bought it. I headed off on a 1500 mile trip and used 6 quarts of oil. When I got to my destination I changed the roll of toilet paper and changed the oil and drove the 1500 miles back home, only having to add 1 quart. From then on I wound up driving the car to over 175,000 on that motor with minimum oil consumption. They do make a difference at least in the cleanness of the oil. JH
