The high fan location only causes problems with after market intakes. The bypass hose clears just fine with the factory manifolds.
I have 3 of them here; 2 pre61 blocks, 1 64 block and all of them have the same intake casting number which is also the same as the later block low mounts I have. I can get pictures tom. if you want.
