That shot was North, the Ocean is Southwest, if I pan East it's all black, at least 39,000 acres.
That's my folks place, they were on the western edge of the Triangle Complex Fire, my in-laws were on the eastern edge, my daughters right in the middle, on the northeastern edge...that was a looong night....= )
