Ron,
Have you ever welded the rear fuel filler hole up to accomodate a smaller gromet? say a 3" hole in the sheetmetal like a pickup that has the tank behind the seat. Aother than not being stock can you see any troubles with that and maybe even raising the filler pipe some?
