I got my 4.30 out of a 48 dodge 1 ton dually 2 WD. It runs good with the 251 in my M37. 251 with 2 bbl stromberg (from 318) and pertronix ignition in modified slant 6 distributor. 2 years searching for another 4.3, no find, no where, NO WHERE !! The pumpkin is a direct swap change-out. It will be going into the front differential and a Dana 60 rear axle sectioned into the rear with Strange (brand name) 4.3 for the dana 60. Then I've got 4.3 front and rear. The 4.3 cruises 63-65 all day long. Good luck
