OT: Need advice on Military Wrecker...

...I have a 5 ton Military Wrecker (M813 ????) and I want to put a different transmission in it to do-away with the 5 speed. Need more gears for more power range. Anyone know anyone who has experience with this? THX in advance. DOug IN COlorado
