Notice how the holes in the rear face of Spence's cross member are vertical, not angled out wider between the top ones. These particular holes were not meant for the early drawbar brackets. The vertical ones were for mounting rear bumperettes.
Also note how Spence's reproduction drawbars are indistinguishable from original pieces. Good stuff!
