Engine ID

I have a 23 inch Dodge I6 flathead in a 1936 International Harvestor T-20 Crawler. The engine was a replacement for the OEM OHV 4. I am trying to date it and determine which model. The side plate on the driver's side where the engine ID number is usually located is blank. There is not a trace of stamped letters or numbers. Could the engine number have been stamped some place else?

Any other suggestions on how to determine which model it is?
