Today I spent the usual half-hour messing around with the log splitter, filing and adjusting the points, and replacing a gooey spark plug.
I want to put an electronic ignition conversion on its single-cylinder Kohler engine to avoid all this hassle.
The engine has a 12-volt battery and conventional points/coil ignition, not a magneto.
Has anyone here done this? Any favorite (or not) products? A Google search just sends me in circles. Thanks.
