Wow! That looks like Wallace last year. This year, after our first foot, we really haven't gotten any more to speak of. It seems it's too cold to snow here, with the temperatures on the low teens, at most. Further west, Spokane and Coeur d'Alene got over 2 feet of snow in that first storm, and more since. Even Seattle has real snow for the first time in years. It's fun to read the explanations and arguments in the Seattle papers about how it can be that they're having such cold and snowy weather, when everybody knows global warming is real. I don't know if you know Seattle, but this is the city that has always tried to be greener than San Francisco. Last year, the mayor banned beach fires in city parks because the contribute to global warming. Apparently the new theory is that all this cold weather was actually predicted by the global warming computer models. You see, global warming makes the North Pacific warmer, which causes freak storms that push the cold arctic air down south. I swear that in 10,000 years, when Seattle and Manhattan are both under 2000 feet of solid ice, and they're planting wheat in Florida, people will still be saying "If only Bush had signed the Kyoto Protocol in time, the climate would still be normal."
