A little teste today? Just remember that when a fireman pulls you out of your smashed car or burning house he is risking his life for you. They see things that would make most of use get sick if we saw it. They pull what is left of people out of cars, houses and where ever we manage to put ourselves. I am really thankful that these guys do that.
These people are public servants and need to be well paid for what they do (I do not want someone earning the minimum wage to come get me. Most are well trained and are often the first aid most of us see. Often they work 24 hour shifts and a lot of people bitch at an 8 hour shift.
Our fire service is a seperate tax that is added to our property tax. I have no problem problem paying that portion of my taxes.
