Clint I agree with you. A few years back I took my 48 FFPW to a 4X4 club sponsored event in Ouray CO. The vast majority showed up with there modified Power Wagons and M37s.
We went on a trail ride called "Engineer Pass" elevation just under 11,000 feet. The group gave me a real teasing about taking, as they put it, my bone stock power wagon on the ride.
It was the general consensus that I needed an electric fuel pump, disk brakes and more horse power.
To make the story short, let's just say that my Bone Stock Power Wagon gained there respect that day.
