I would start with the fuel filter to see if your picking junk from the gas tank. Mine was doing a simular thing and I had part of the cork gasket from the cap and a piece of solder rolling around in the tank. It would run good for awhile then start doing the same thing you described. I put a rubber hose on the end of gas line at the tank and stuck it in a gas can and it ran perfect, that's how I figured it out. Try one thing at a time don't change a bunch of stuff then you won't know what's wrong. good luck, Nort
