Years ago when I was 18 my cousin and I went to town on very nasty day with snow coming down. As we got down the road there were three cars stuck in the drifts. We got out and pushed out two of the cars since we only had my Dad's 68 D 200 and no way to get to these cars. The first two cars were women drivers and it was only polite to help them. They thanked us for helping them out, some offering money which we declined. The last car was driven by such a person as you describe, a real horses backside. He was able bodied enough to have helped us with the others but sat in his nice warm car. We then got behind him as he floored it throwing snow all over us. We got him going without his offering so much as a thanks as he drove away. Where we put out by his actions? Yes but we knew we did the right thing. We could have left him stranded but that would have gone against the way we were raised. You could have helped and perhaps changed this man's attitude but now you'll never know for sure. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Maybe next time?
