OH! ha! ha! I re-read that and can see how my "shorthand" left that impression.
I actually was thinking about front GM Dana 60's when I wrote that. The GM axles are about 3/4" longer, but the GM frame is 5/8" narrower, making an 1-1/2" offset in the front if one is not paying attention....= )
