Rear diff fluid volume

I have a 63WM300. Just changed the rear diff fluid. Used just shy of a gallon of 85-140 gear oil to refill. Stuff is so thick its hard to tell if I got it even with the fill plug. It has the original rear 3rd member. Does anyone know what volume it should take to fill it?
