I had samples sent from Specialty Power Windows. Then a PW friend express his problems with this type of wiper setup on his truck. The concept is good, the design leave a lot to be desired. Go to Phils archives and do a search on Specialty Power Windows. You should kick up all the posts I made about this product. It was probably 2 years ago.
Chris Case did make his own setup using this concept. I believe there are pictures on my Image Event Album, Restoration Alley, look for Chris's PW.
I did also receive samples from Trico of a super compact wiper built for a Saab Platform.
It was great, it would fit, it would rip your fingers off. Problem it was designed for 179 degrees of sweep arc. The sweep arc is non adjustable. Even with machine work to change the sweep, the rear of the main gear also had copper traces for coast to park or dynamic park.
The engineer at Trico told me that the small marine type wipers that will handle snow, slush etc do not exist. They simply cant get a large enough motor and gear case in that compact a space.
So, I dont have a answer, maybe I never will ?
