Drove truck today Dec 1 was like spring

I changed the carb and removed the crank vent line to the carb. Now it will build pressure and blow the entire oil filler tube out.
This engine has the pvc line from the rear of the crankcase to the intake man. I thought the pvc would handle the crank pressure. Maybe I should put one of the old road draft tubes on it or maybe the pvc is stuck. Any ideas?
