Fleabag here, I have a dana 44 front axle that I am trying to get the drivers side knuckle off so I can change ball joints. It is a open knuckle axle and I cant figure out nor do I have a book and never have had a axle like this apart. Everything is off but the knuckle, the top ball joint stud goes thru the tube end and it looks like there is something that fits in the hole around the ball joint stud but dont know how it comes out? Also the bottom looks like a differant type set up, does anyone have a blow up of this axle knuckle end? Need advice on how this comes apart. Thanks Duane.
