Your carryall had a box shaped heater below the glove box. It had 2 fans on the rear side that blew air through the heater core. Next to the heater mounted on the fire wall was another fan with a squirrel cage. It sucked air from the side vent of the heater. On the top of the fan cage was a Y tube that the two defroster vents hooked to. There was not tube or direct connection between the heater and this fan as best I can tell. I actually restored this fan on my carryall about a year ago. I had not put it back in and I decided I wanted to see out the windshield. I ended up buying a new motor for it since I could not get the old one to run very well. I went to NAPA and we matched it to a new one. I got a single speed motor and put a switch in the dash were the choke would normally be. I have yet to put the heater back in my carryall.
