At least that is my memory. The striker is different, and the door gains a pin to keep the door aligned, but I think the latch stayed the same.

Tim is right though, the whole door latch area and striker look different, so most of the rest of the parts are unique to the late 60s trucks.

If you want to be sure I can check some books, or maybe someone with a 1967-68 truck could comment?
