The ones out there didn't have enough material to catch the edges of the thermostat housing. They seemed to be shaped like a football. We had a machine shop make one (from an aluminum rod) and add a few more ports (one for the water temp gauge). I gave him the thermostat housing and provided the locations for the ports. If you want, I can take a few measurements and send you a sketch. I won't be able to do it until Thursday though.
