Spot on Terry! I actually bought a shop manual days after I got the truck but, followed the dipstick. Come to find out, the dipstick was from another engine altogether. Lesson learned: ALWAYS CONSULT THE MANUAL WHEN SERVICING OLD TRUCKS, AS THINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE~!!!!!
