"I guess I would have to say that if anyone else ever has a hunch that they have herniated a disc in their neck, get to a doctor a quickly as possible. If you feel nerve pain, you will know it. I have in the past with an L5 herniation, and I still tried to work through it this time and brush it off as a pulled muscle. I realized I had made a big mistake when the surgeon rushed me ahead of 2 months of previously booked surgeries. "
Thats no joke! I thought I had pulled a muscle in my leg and/or had a problem with my hip. I'd have bet money I didnt have a back problem when my disc had problems in the L4-5 area.
I try and tell everyone now be careful. Protect your back. No need to be a stud man and lift that heavy object or what ever. Its simply not worth it when something finally happens. Get a cart or 2 wheeler to haul that hevay object from the truck to the shop. Use proper lifting technics.
