The slant 6 PW's had a NP435 behind them, like Brian's M601. I'll try to paste in the close up of the frame punch-out only seen on the slant 6 trucks. The big gas tank was installed in PW's starting in 1949 with the Gerstenslager ambulances and also later on in the M601.
