Balancing is the same between the L 318 (poly) and the /6, LA 273/318/pre-1973 & 340, R block 361/383, and RB block 413, 426 wedge,and pre-1971 non-6-pack 440. They all use a neutral balance flywheel - which can be interchanged. Note: The /6 flywheel would need an offset crank hole off added (file/drill) to use it with a V8 crank.
