To an extent, you're right. But there is always opportunity (with the exceptions of gov. mandated monopolies) just look at Google, they came out of nowhere to supplant Yahoo and others, phone companies may usurp computers, computers may usurp TV.
Whenever there is an idea and free enterprise there is opportunity.
Besides, I'm pretty sure it was the Anti-Sherman, Trust Act.....= )
