This WWII Carryall was made in Willow Run Michigan. It made a pit stop at Fort Carson in Colorado, before going on to Alaska. Members of the Army Corps of Engineers used the truck to transport materials while building the Alaskan Highway. The truck ended up back East in New York before being sold as surplus in 1946. The vehicle was purchased by the owner of a Lowell Mass. taxi company and was used to haul auto parts until I bought it in 1970. The truck was restored in 1988.
