That is a pretty funny mistake! If that was true, just think how many 9 foot beds would be out there. I sort of wish it was true, the 108" Wheel Base trucks have a narrow bed in those years, and the tailgates don't work on a PW. The 9 foot bed tailgates do work on Power Wagons.
