What year truck are you refering too? Earlier ones where on the driver's side frame over axle, very spread out. Later FFPW's have it in the same place on the passenger side. San Leandron made trucks are on the driver's side frame ear almost at the end, smaller and much closer together than when they are over the axle.
Good luck and don't grind to hard or you will erase it. :-)
