I have a 93 that the speedo quit on, that also took out the overdrive.The senser at the transfer case had a square drive. It became a round drive so it didnt spin. I took it off, spun it with a drill and it put out 0 to 5 volts it worked just no drive. Check that first I hate dealerships. Half the time you are smarter than the person working on your truck.
