From the advice of Jon Martin, I got my steel guy to buy the jd/2 bender. Jon has a manual one and my steel guy opted to get the air over hydraulic attachment. Not speaking for Jon, but he has the model 3 with a 1.75
5.5 CLR die and a 1.25 4.5 CLR die.
I don't remember what die my steel guy has. I'm sure if you didn't want to buy a die, and dependant on what size you want you could borrow my steel guys die.
The attached link has some photo's of the job we did. I did a lot of the bending with that bender and you could achieve pretty repetitive bend which was very nice for a somewhat of a production run.
Personally, this would be a great tool for a group of people to go in on and buy and then just send it around as people needed to bend tube. It's sort of is expensive especially if you want different sized dies, but once you get done with it - it will just sit.
