if the vales were stuck open its from rust > in most cases the valve face and seat have rust as well and are not providing a good seal hence low compression > i have been having good luck with lighter fluid or equivelant it penetrates well cleans and burns off quickly in side the cylinder my motto SOAKEM IF YOU GOTEM or is that smokem if you got them any way good luck ~ J Kg is correct 80 and above in needed
