...there is no "Bush Doctrine", it's a term made up by the old left media and has been used to "name" several different concepts, it's all in the mind of the media, there is no formal United States policy called the "Bush Doctrine".
What President Bush said in regards to the war against terror is that, "you're either with us, or against us" seems pretty clear to me.
The meaning that Charlie Gibson gave to it was inaccurate, according to his own earlier statements of what he thought it meant, it was trap question and had nothing to do with current or future policy.
