Were all the WC53's built in 1942?

Haven't found the right serial # on mine yet.I have found a lot of numbers ending in AF leading me to believe ex-Air Force. Blue exterior, white interior. OD underneath.
I worked on it today. Now I'm whipped. Learned alot about 3/4 ton differentials. Took tailgate off for reskin. All the shoes came off because they were draggin so bad. Now I can push it around easier. Frame off resto back to original in the distant future. One bite at a time!
